Siquijor, the second island we decided to visit, and boy am I glad we did! An extremely underrated island with so much natural beauty & mystery, you would be silly not to go. With little to no tourism here, I felt like I got real taste of what the Philippines and people were truely about. We spent our days exploring the contrast of beaches, swimming in vibrant waterfalls & riding around meeting locals and playing ball with the ever smiling kids. Travelling to the Philippines was a very last minute decision for Kyle and I as we were planning to leave Thailand. We knew we would be stretching our budget with this decision but it was a place I’ve wanted to visit for a long time now. Located on the south Peninsula of Phuket, this luxury hotel private pool villa & spa resort is one of the dreamiest locations to spend your time whilst in Thailand. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by smiling, helpful and polite staff, who instantly made us feel like VIP. Continue reading “Two unforgettable nights at Sri panwa – Phuket”
When planning our European trip, Albania wasn’t somewhere we had ever thought of going – not until our close friends had mentioned how much the loved it. There really is never much talk about the country though, & my only perception was that it was a dangerous, underdeveloped and out of reach. That is why this incredible place has surprised me the most – and I’m so excited to share with you all our experience.
48 hours is more than enough time to fall in love with this incredible, lively city. If I had the choice I would have gone house hunting then and their, and set up stay for another 2 years. The city’s cultural diversity and impeccable love for food had me hooked instantly. It is a foodies paradise! Here are a few tips on eating & sight seeing on a budget.
