When planning our European trip, Albania wasn’t somewhere we had ever thought of going – not until our close friends had mentioned how much the loved it. There really is never much talk about the country though, & my only perception was that it was a dangerous, underdeveloped and out of reach. That is why this incredible place has surprised me the most – and I’m so excited to share with you all our experience.
48 hours is more than enough time to fall in love with this incredible, lively city. If I had the choice I would have gone house hunting then and their, and set up stay for another 2 years. The city’s cultural diversity and impeccable love for food had me hooked instantly. It is a foodies paradise! Here are a few tips on eating & sight seeing on a budget.
A country I’ve wanted to visit for years – ever since I saw a photo on Instagram of Trolltunga that instantly grabbed my attention. At that moment I knew I had to go, well before Kyle and I even started on our long journey on the road. I now have a some incredible memories & photos from our experience that I am dying to share with you all.
Greece is a place I think almost everyone dreams of going 🌎. Those images of the breathtaking santorini cliffs, the iconic white & blue painted streets, the plunging blue ocean 💙, the endless sunshine & ooohh the food! The glorious food 😋. Ever wondered what it was like to step into a place that was almost like the fairytales you used to believe in when you were young? The beauty in the National Parks of Croatia will have your imagination running wild. So unbelievably picturesque you sometimes wonder if it is a marvel of the natural world or man made to perfection.
For those travelling the South of France, skip the riviera and head straight to Calanques National Park located right off Marseille. We actually unexpectedly stumbled across this amazing gem of France, and I could not have been happier.
Leaving Portugal, we had no expectations as to what the Andalucian region of Spain had to offer or what the landscape was even like; and in my opinion, setting little to no expectations is the best way to travel. That way you are rarely left disappointed, and more usually pleasantly surprised. After travelling through Seville and Ronda, I couldn’t find this more true.
